RACE CARD'S interactive dance party/Bid Whist game/Storytelling sessions were described by many audience members as "healing", "a release". Over and over, folks expressed that RACE CARD reminded them of the need to periodically check in and shake off the load of daily racist aggression that we carry. Art serving a healing purpose, to bring light to hearts and minds!

Journey through the psychic underground where we’ll dance under water and not get wet. Race Card unpacks the musty traveling papers stuffed into 21st century history's bags, and rifles through your own drawers as well, calling on audience members to join the fray of stage play with both cued and improvised live-ness at every turn. Incorporating the traditional Black card game of bid whist, Race Card asks the audience to bid, and play to win!
